Made for

Three things, one promise

We plan the poses, settings and outfits. Add preferences if you want, or create one specific photo. Timing varies with the set and its quality checks. We do not promise a fixed time per photo.

  1. 01

New photos, from your own face

A few selfies go in and a set comes out. Six photos, or eight. Not hundreds. Each one is built for a different spot on your profile.

  2. 02Free

    Check your photos

Each photo comes back with where it goes on your profile, six ratings, and what to improve. Free, and no score on your face.

  3. 03Free

    Your bio and prompt answers

Tell us something true about yourself and we will help turn it into a bio or answers for prompts like "Two truths and a lie".

Compare the source and result

Compare each uploaded reference with its generated photo. Look at facial features as well as the setting and clothing.

What we check before delivery

Your references guide the face. The set adds different poses, clothes and settings.

Start with the photos you have

  1. Check your current photos

Upload the photos already on your dating profile. Each one comes back with where it goes, six ratings, and what to improve. Every photo is judged on its own.

  2. Create only what is missing

If your set has a gap, make the one photo it needs from your own selfies — without replacing everything.

  3. Write your bio and prompt answers

Share a few real details. We will turn them into a bio and answers to prompts like "Two truths and a lie", then check the draft against what you told us.

Where Fottory differs from DatePhotos

Who you actually have to convince

What the category answers to

Face verification. A realness score. Slipping past a detector. Every rival aims its honesty claim at software, which is a real problem and the wrong one.

What actually decides it

A person sitting across a table who has seen your profile and is now looking at you. No detector has an opinion about that, and no detector is who you have to convince.

It is also why the check exists. Independent judges rated about a third of online dating photos inaccurate while the people who chose them believed otherwise, so the question is not only about the photos you are about to make. It is about the ones already up. Hancock and Toma, 2009

Questions

How much does DatePhotos cost compared to Fottory?

In July 2026 DatePhotos listed 29, 49 and 79 dollars, with 120 photos on the middle tier. Fottory sells 30 photos for 19, 100 for 39 and 200 for 69, and the first 2 are free. Per photo generated, DatePhotos is cheaper at volume. Per photo you actually put on a profile, it depends how many of the 120 you keep.

Is 20 to 30 minutes faster than Fottory?

Timing varies with the set and its quality checks. We do not promise a fixed time per photo.

Will up to 8 photos at a time be enough?

You get as many as you buy. The largest pack is 200 photos, they simply arrive a few at a time across as many separate briefs as you like. Most people fill a profile with six to nine good ones and stop, which is why the batch size is built around the profile rather than around the invoice.

Does Fottory keep my face looking like me?

Every photo is built from the 1 to 4 photos you upload, so the face is yours. That is table stakes in this category now, and DatePhotos says much the same thing. What differs is how much of everything else you get to decide.

Will the photos still look like me?

Yes. It is your own face, not a new one. Upload clear photos and the results look like you, at your best.

Are AI photos allowed on dating apps?

Rules vary by app and can change. Use photos that represent how you look today. Check the current platform rules before posting. Fottory cannot guarantee acceptance or photo verification.

Will people be able to tell the photos are AI?

We cannot promise nobody notices, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can say is what decides it. A generated photo gives itself away when the face has been smoothed, when the light does not match the place, or when the person in it is not quite the person you meet. So the whole product is built the other way: your own face, your own features, kept as they are. You choose which photos to use, and you can say they were generated. Our own writing argues you should.

How many photos do I need to upload?

One is enough. It has to show only you, with your face towards the camera and your hair visible. You can add up to four for more variety. A side angle or a full body photo helps, but we do not need them.

Can I choose the scenes and outfits?

We plan the poses, settings and outfits. Add preferences if you want, or create one specific photo.

How much does it cost?

You pay once, with no subscription. Packs start at 19, and you only spend a credit when you ask for a photo.

Can I try it for free first?

Yes. Your first two photos are free and you do not need a card. See your own face before you pay anything.

Is my data private?

We never train on your photos and we never share them. They stay yours.
