Made for

Three things, one promise

Most AI dating photo generators work the same way. You hand over a pile of selfies, wait, and get hundreds of photos to sort through. Fottory works the other way. You pick the scene, from a preset, a written description, or a reference you upload. Then the outfit. Then any extra notes. You get up to 8 photos back. Your face, not someone else's.

Start with the photos you have

  1. Check your current photos

Upload the photos already on your dating profile. Each one comes back with where it goes, six ratings, and what to improve. Every photo is judged on its own.

  2. Create only what is missing

If your set has a gap, make the one photo it needs from your own selfies — without replacing everything.

  3. Write your bio and prompt answers

Share a few real details. We will turn them into a bio and answers to prompts like "Two truths and a lie", then check the draft against what you told us.

What is fixed and what is not

Who you actually have to convince

What the category answers to

Face verification. A realness score. Slipping past a detector. Every rival aims its honesty claim at software, which is a real problem and the wrong one.

What actually decides it

A person sitting across a table who has seen your profile and is now looking at you. No detector has an opinion about that, and no detector is who you have to convince.

It is also why the check exists. Independent judges rated about a third of online dating photos inaccurate while the people who chose them believed otherwise, so the question is not only about the photos you are about to make. It is about the ones already up. Hancock and Toma, 2009

Questions

How does an AI dating photo generator work?

It takes two kinds of input. Your uploaded photo fixes the face. The scene, the outfit and any extra notes fix everything else. Each run builds new photos from that pair and returns up to 8 of them. Change one input, run again, and only that part moves.

What is the difference between this and an AI headshot generator?

A headshot generator repeats one look: plain background, work clothes. A dating profile shows four to nine photos side by side, so sameness is easy to spot. That is why the scene and the outfit are set on every batch here, not fixed by a template. Different place, different clothes, same face.

What if the first batch is not what I wanted?

Write a different brief and run again. Because you set the scene and the outfit yourself, you can usually point at the line that went wrong and change it. A batch is up to 8 photos, so a miss costs a small part of the pack. Used photos cannot be refunded, but any unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase, minus a flat fee of 5, so test with the 2 free photos you get on sign up first.

Do dating apps allow AI photos?

The rules are about misrepresentation, not about how a photo was made. Tinder's guidelines contain no rule on AI photos. Hinge's AI principles permit generated images as long as they do not misrepresent you. Bumble prohibits artificially generated photos used to deceive. The face in every photo here is your own.

Will the photos still look like me?

Yes. It is your own face, not a new one. Upload clear photos and the results look like you, at your best.

Are AI photos allowed on dating apps?

Dating apps do not ban AI photos. Tinder’s Community Guidelines say “Don’t create a fake account or pretend to be someone you’re not”, and say nothing about AI at all. The rule is about whether the person in the photo is you.

Will people be able to tell the photos are AI?

We cannot promise nobody notices, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can say is what decides it. A generated photo gives itself away when the face has been smoothed, when the light does not match the place, or when the person in it is not quite the person you meet. So the whole product is built the other way: your own face, your own features, kept as they are. You choose which photos to use, and you can say they were generated. Our own writing argues you should.

How many photos do I need to upload?

One is enough. It has to show only you, with your face towards the camera and your hair visible. You can add up to four for more variety. A side angle or a full body photo helps, but we do not need them.

Can I choose the scenes and outfits?

Yes. Pick a place and clothes from the list, describe them, or show us a photo to follow.

How much does it cost?

You pay once, with no subscription. Packs start at 19, and you only spend a credit when you ask for a photo.

Can I try it for free first?

Yes. Your first two photos are free and you do not need a card. See your own face before you pay anything.

Is my data private?

We never train on your photos and we never share them. They stay yours.
