Photos for a grid, not a card
One person in the tile
The upload rule is one person, face towards the camera, hair visible. It holds in the grid too. At thumbnail size, a second person in the frame just makes both of you hard to read.
Nothing to read beside it
On Hinge your three prompt answers sit next to the photos. Grindr's grid is photos and distance. Whatever you wrote is on your profile, not in the grid, so the first photo has to stand on its own.
A batch you can swap
You get up to 8 photos per batch, not hundreds. The grid sorts by distance, so who sees you shifts as you move around town. A few photos means you can swap the one on show without starting again.

Questions
Do I need to show my face to use this?
Yes, to make the photos. The photo you upload has to show one person, face towards the camera, hair visible, because every result is built from that face. What you then put in the grid is your call. Nothing stops you from keeping the face photos back and sending them when someone asks.
Can it give me a different body or shirtless photos?
You choose the outfit, and you can write extra instructions. What you will not get is a body you do not have. The generator starts from your face and holds to that. If you want photos that show more of you, that is a choice of scene and outfit, not a different body.
Can I use these photos on other apps too?
Yes, the photos are yours. A photo that reads in a small grid tile also fills a Tinder card, since the card is bigger. Worth knowing: Hinge's own dating guide says to skip AI-generated profile photos, and Bumble's rule bans generated photos used to deceive. The standard we hold to is the same everywhere, the photo has to be you.
How do I get something other than a mirror selfie?
Pick the scene. Choose a preset, write a description of the place you want, or upload a reference photo of a room or a street. Same with the outfit. In a grid every tile is the same size, so the place you are standing in is most of what makes yours different. You get up to 8 photos back.
Will the photos still look like me?
Yes. It is your own face, not a new one. Upload clear photos and the results look like you, at your best.
Are AI photos allowed on dating apps?
Dating apps do not ban AI photos. Tinder’s Community Guidelines say “Don’t create a fake account or pretend to be someone you’re not”, and say nothing about AI at all. The rule is about whether the person in the photo is you.
Will people be able to tell the photos are AI?
We cannot promise nobody notices, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can say is what decides it. A generated photo gives itself away when the face has been smoothed, when the light does not match the place, or when the person in it is not quite the person you meet. So the whole product is built the other way: your own face, your own features, kept as they are. You choose which photos to use, and you can say they were generated. Our own writing argues you should.
How many photos do I need to upload?
One is enough. It has to show only you, with your face towards the camera and your hair visible. You can add up to four for more variety. A side angle or a full body photo helps, but we do not need them.
Can I choose the scenes and outfits?
Yes. Pick a place and clothes from the list, describe them, or show us a photo to follow.
How much does it cost?
You pay once, with no subscription. Packs start at 19, and you only spend a credit when you ask for a photo.
