Does this work if I am in my fifties?

Yes. Each photo is built from the one you upload, so it keeps the face you have today. It will not subtract years, and a profile that takes itself seriously does not need it to. Upload a recent photo: one person, facing forward, hair visible. The first two photos are free, no card.

How formal should Match photos be?

Will people be able to tell the photos are AI?

We cannot promise nobody notices, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can say is what decides it. A generated photo gives itself away when the face has been smoothed, when the light does not match the place, or when the person in it is not quite the person you meet. So the whole product is built the other way: your own face, your own features, kept as they are. You choose which photos to use, and you can say they were generated. Our own writing argues you should.

How many photos do I need to upload?

One is enough. It has to show only you, with your face towards the camera and your hair visible. You can add up to four for more variety. A side angle or a full body photo helps, but we do not need them.
