What Bumble asks of your six photos
What the rule bans
Bumble's inauthentic profiles guideline bans someone else's photos, generated photos, or enhanced photos used to deceive others. The condition is deceiving. Bumble also removes photos so distorted that it cannot be told you are the person in them.
Best Photo reorders three
Best Photo tests your first three photos and moves the strongest into the top slot. The profile may open on a photo you did not pick, so all three have to work on their own.
Recent, whole face
Bumble asks for a recent photo of your whole face, no sunglasses, no filters. The photo you upload here sets the face in all six, so start from a current one and they will match the person who shows up.

How many profile pictures do you need on Bumble?
Six. Bumble gives you six slots and advises filling all of them. One photo of your face is enough to start, as long as it shows one person, facing forward, with hair visible. The packs are 19 for 30 photos, 39 for 100, and 69 for 200, so you can pick six rather than keep the first six.
Can you get banned on Bumble for AI profile pictures?
Bumble bans generated or enhanced photos used to deceive others, not generated photos in themselves. It also removes photos so distorted that you cannot be identified in them, and it lets people report a profile for AI photos. Keep the six close to the face in the photo you upload.

Are AI photos allowed on dating apps?
Dating apps do not ban AI photos. Tinder’s Community Guidelines say “Don’t create a fake account or pretend to be someone you’re not”, and say nothing about AI at all. The rule is about whether the person in the photo is you.
Will people be able to tell the photos are AI?
We cannot promise nobody notices, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can say is what decides it. A generated photo gives itself away when the face has been smoothed, when the light does not match the place, or when the person in it is not quite the person you meet. So the whole product is built the other way: your own face, your own features, kept as they are. You choose which photos to use, and you can say they were generated. Our own writing argues you should.
How many photos do I need to upload?
One is enough. It has to show only you, with your face towards the camera and your hair visible. You can add up to four for more variety. A side angle or a full body photo helps, but we do not need them.
Can I choose the scenes and outfits?
Yes. Pick a place and clothes from the list, describe them, or show us a photo to follow.
